Yikes it's been awhile since I have posted anything! No worries I have lots to catch you all up on.
Jason turned 1 October 8th! We celebrated his birthday on the 7th with a few friends here on Eielson. A lot of party prep and a Hour and 45 minute party later we were all pooped! I wish we could have had all our friends and family here to celebrate little man's birthday but since that isn't possible we took lots of pictures so it could be like you are here celebrating with us.

Now just so you know I made the cakes all by myself... well I started with a box mix and added from there, the fondant I made from scratch! I was really nervous that I wasn't going to have them done in time but I ended up having plenty of time to spare.

Can you believe my little boy is a year old already!? I wish time travel was possible, I would love to go back to the very first moment I laid eyes on him.
Jason's vocabulary is growing he now says: Mama, Dad, Heidi, yah and a few other random words. He is very happy and a social guy as long as he is not tired or his teeth or bugging him. Speaking of teeth it looks like Jason has 4 teeth coming in on top! All. At. The. Same. Time! But even so he is doing really well and has only been a little cranky. Last night he had a hard time going to bed and was up crying the longest he has ever cried (he cries for maybe a minute most nights after I put him down). When I got him up out of bed as soon as he snuggled up to me he was happy.
Matt is working on Jason's first year video, since there is so much to go through and Matt has such little spare time I will post it when he is able to finish it. I can't wait to watch it!
