Jason's first day of Pre-K

Jason has been looking forward to starting to school since Ava started preschool last year! He wasn't old enough at the beginning at the school this year but since he turned 3 in October he was able to apply and a spot opened up for him.

He was so excited this morning I could hardly get him dressed he was bouncing around so much. He got his "pack pack" and his coat and headed off happily to school. Once we we there we said goodbye, he gave me a kiss and Matt a high five and that was it.

He is officially a big kid now!

Ava and Jason are in the same class and they are both super happy that they are. Ava loved showing Jason around and helping him get settled.

Decorating the Christmas Tree 2014

While decorating our tree we learned that we need professional help with our Christmas tree decorating skills! It looks like a 4 year old decorated our tree but I suppose that's because one did along with her 3 year old brother! We need more lights, some ribbon and we definitely need some ball ornaments!

I'll definitely be shopping for some Christmas Tree supplies during the after Christmas sales this year!!

Cutting down the Christmas Tree 2014

This is the first year as a family we got to go pick out and cut down our own tree. The kids had so much fun searching for the perfect tree, which ended up being a 10' 8" monster! It was cheaper to find a big tree and cut it smaller than to find the right sized tree to begin with so that's what we did.

Both of the kids got to take a turn sawing the tree down with dad.

Ava wanted to help drag the tree to the car..

...but it was so heavy!!

Eating their cookies and candy cane treats.

We did it!
