We got to celebrate Matt's birthday with some family and it was pretty awesome!
Dave, Terri, Duncan and Brandon Foreman drove over from Milwaukie (6-7 hours away) to spend Halloween (Matt's birthday with us) and check out our new home and town. Terri came bearing many gifts (as usual). We now all have WSU sweatshirts! And the kids got some fun new toys.
It was a very busy and fun filled couple of days. We went to the Cougars game Halloween night, did some trick or treating (twice), had lots of food, took the kids to the park, the parents took us out to dinner, went shopping, sang happy birthday (led by Ava) and ate Matt's birthday cupcakes. Can't wait for the "other" Foreman family to come visit again!
We took the kids to the park on Friday! Even though most classes were canceled because of the Halloween game Matt still had one class to go to, so he didn't get to go play at the park with us *sad face*.
Matt's youngest brothers. Duncan (left) 11 & Brandon (right) 15.
Matt has another brother Josh who wasn't here this weekend. Josh is 23.
I guess Dave only knows how to have boys!
My crazy little munchkins giving grandma a hard time as she tries to snap a picture of them.
LOVE all the leaves!!!
Grandpa Dave makes the same face at Terri taking pictures that Matt makes at me when I take pictures. Silly boys.
Awwww....
Brandon's a little shorty at just 6'3". We found out that if we stacked Ava and Jason their combined height is just about the same as Brandon's!
My little pumpkins and ghosts for Matt's birthday cupcakes. He always requests white cake with white frosting so it's hard for me to get creative and come up with something for his birthday cake. Luckily these little guys were pretty easy and they are cute.
I swirled in black and orange food coloring into the cupcake batter for a little something extra.
Just can't get over this picture of my boys together!
Happy Birthday Matt, hope you had as much as the rest of us!
We LOVE you!!!
