Come Celebrate Jason's 2nd Birthday with us!

Jason's Birthday felt like quite a success. We had a few of our new friends join us along with a couple special out of town guests. Jason received many thoughtful, super fun gifts and now the kids are all sugared out and tucked softly in their beds.

So thankful to have been able to share this special event with so many good people!
And of course I couldn't have done it without all the help from Grandma Heidi and Grandpa Dave.

Grandpa reading bed time stories to the kids last night.

Grandma doing what she loves best (hiding and playing on her ipad)!

Jason's party invitations. If you noticed.... yes I wrote September instead of October for the date. Luckily no one is capable of time travel and showed up in October anyway.

Making the kids take home goodie. They were so cute!

Good thing I have a great guy to run party errands for me!

Cutting out Elmo's face.

Can't wait for the party to start!!!

Skyping grandma Lynda so she can watch Jason open his gifts.

Jason loved opening his gifts almost as much as he loves all of the great gifts he received!

Picking up all the wrapping paper. All the kids helped and I think they quite enjoyed themselves at that!

Pure Joy!

It was so cute watching him blow out his candle. He knew exactly what to do.. maybe that's cause Ava accidentally blew the candle out first, it's okay, Grandma Heidi had a lighter in hand ready to relight that candle!

Jason devoured his cake and then asked for more!

Had to go take some pictures before grandpa Dave left to go home.

Had a great (super short) visit with Grandpa Dave! Thank you for driving the 12 hour round trip to come spend Jason's 2nd birthday with us and for all the time you spent (keeping the kids out of my hair!) with the kids, I know they loved every minute they had with you!

Thank you everyone that came to the party and/or sent Jason a gift. He really did have a great day (even though he spent the first bit of the party crying for cake!) He went to bed one very happy little boy in his Elmo Pj's, with an Elmo book, Elmo CD and of course his Hug me Elmo.

All in all a very good day.
