Big coupon run! 9/29

I know, I know... Not another picture of a bunch of soap and candy! 

I just can't help myself!

Today was the biggest run I have done in a while. I spent a bit more out of pocket but I got some good laundry soap that I don't normally buy not to mention the Ferrero Rocher & Lindt chocolate.

Let me break it down for you.

Rite Aid Retail Value: $88.59

(Those Tide bottles are regularly priced at $9.99!)

After sales and coupons I paid: (before tax): $33.43

BUT

I got back $15 in up Rewards making my total for the above items: $18.43 or $0.87 an item! Not bad, and I'am all stocked up for Halloween and Mom's visit (you know, that Ferrero Rocher and Lindt chocolate)! 

Just one little goof today that costed me $2.00 but all and all still a good run!

Ava's new do!

So... yesterday my daughter decided to cut her own hair....

We were both in tears. 

Today we went in to Supercuts and got Ava's hair cut (by a professional!).

She looks pretty cute with short hair, don't you think?

Coupon Run 9/22

Last night Matt and Ava went to their first Cougars game! Sounds like they had a blast and the Cougars won 42-0 against University of Idaho!

While off doing my coupon run and grocery shopping I received a text from Matt... Jason even looks cute in girls clothes! lol

This week was my first time couponing at Walmart. I think it was pretty successful, my total before coupons was $21.35.

Total out of pocket (before tax): $5.76!! That is a 73% savings! 

Rite aid this week was a small trip but worth it for 2 tubes of FREE toothpaste! 

I paid $2.50 out of pocket (before tax) and used $3.00 in up Rewards for 2 tubes of toothpaste and received back $6.00 in up Rewards! That is a $0.50 money maker!!

Walgreens this week was also a small run.

Total out of pocket (before tax):  $2.00 or a $1 each!

Gotta start stocking up for Halloween!

Pumpkin Rice Krispies with Ava

We are in the Fall spirit and making Fall crafts and treats left and right.

Last night we made Pumpkin Rice Krispies. They were pretty cute and the kids loved them.
